About Kindred Souls Counseling

Our Mission

Our Services

Our Services

At Kindred Souls Counseling, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive space for folx* and their families who have marginalized identities, while offering support and empowerment, so that they may begin to follow their own sacred journey toward emotional healing and growth.

*The use here of the word "folx" instead of "folks" is intentional, and is meant to explicitly signal the inclusion of groups commonly marginalized.

We provide mental health counseling to children, adolescents, and adults.

We specialize in working with grief and loss, LGBTQIA2S+ concerns, domestic violence survivors, women's wellness, empowerment, assertiveness, healthy boundaries, identity, body image, self-esteem, postpartum health, and sexuality, as well as treating depression, anxiety, & trauma.

We also offer supervision for counselors-in-training seeking licensure.

Our Approach

Our Services

Our Approach

We use feminist therapy to question the idea that you are the problem, and instead explore how your responses make sense within the systems and experiences you’ve had to navigate.

This work is collaborative—the counselor doesn’t position themselves as the expert on your life; you are.

Together, we make meaning of your experiences, challenge harmful narratives, and build something more aligned with who you are.

Healing here is not just personal—it’s also an act of resistance in a world that has asked you to shrink, silence yourself, or question your worth.

Courage doesn't happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding your whole life."
